I wanted to see what the competition was like at 16NL so I was running very loose. Something like 35/30. Donking or cbetting every flop less than 1/2 pot and taking it down right then and there almost every time.

As played is river a call with 3:1 odds?

Had he bet 3/4 pot+ on the turn, I would have folded. Should the river usually be a c/c or b/f.

Its hard to think he called your preflop raise w a 3 or 2 in his hand. He probably has bigger ace high flush or pocket fives. Or knows you dont have a 3 or 2 and is making a big move. I dont know. I am still thinking. He could have a smaller flush. I would probably come close to timing out and call.

real weird hand. like, how did u get to the river here

as played my default would be to fold but then again your betsize induces moves like this as your hand is totally faceup... so depending on your perceived strength of villain this becomes a call the better you believe him to be imo. in his shoes i d shove here all day against this line with crap fwiw

obv not but 16 is just an odd-looking number dont u think?

if u were a drunk fish would u not rather sit at a nl20 or nl25 or nl10 table than a random-looking nl16?

sorry for derailing sir i was just expressing my interest in the games

I was only donking around to see what it was like...about 80 hands total. My table was more than half loose passive players, but this was right before the server restart so all the SNG players had to move to cash. I'll try it out some more tomorrow maybe.

Honestly im not sure why you are calling the turn bet. I could actually see a case for us betting the turn ourselves as we should look pretty strong. I think i lead towards a check/call on the river because he never has anything that can call a bet that we beat on the river. Your seeing quads a ton of the time the way the hand went down and the river is a trivial fold.

This. C/C the turn is bad. I double barrel here or crai but never c/c without a good reason like villain never folds to 2nd barrel but is gonna make a small gay bet and give a good price to draw. I think as played I like checking the river to see what he does as we have more information that way.
