SB is a semi-passive fish (40/11, AF 1), BB is reggish-looking player (27/23 over 22 hands). How's my line (I think this is standard, but we should re-evaluate what we consider to be standard once in a while)? Also, flop sizing?

PokerStars - $0.10 NL (6 max) ZOOM - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

BTN: $9.05
SB: $6.97
BB: $9.85
UTG: $10.82
MP: $13.55
Hero (CO): $17.43

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero has T 9

fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.30, fold, SB calls $0.25, BB calls $0.20

Flop: ($0.90, 3 players) 9 9 6
SB bets $0.30, BB calls $0.30, Hero raises to $1.15, SB calls $0.85, BB calls $0.85

Turn: ($4.35, 3 players) 3
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $2.28, fold, BB raises to $6.10, fold

Tough spot, and I think it's close. But probably a fold.
Also raise sizing is good imo.

fold pre.

from a zoom perspective, folding pre would be good, because stealing against a fish wouldnt be too good. only hands he beats you with are A9, K9, Q9, J9, 66, 33. For a 27/23, although sample size isn't too big, I can see him calling A9, 33 and 66 pre, but folding 33 otf. BB and SB can't be too good just looking at their stacks, not auto topped up to 100bb

I'd say shove, because I had a hand like this last session too. Same V stats, floped a set of Q on AQ9r board and turn was 3, he check-shoved me oop with AKo. Spew perhaps.

tl;dr Yeah just get it in on turn but fold pre is always the best

I disagree.

T9o in the CO with a fish in the blinds is a standard open in zoom.

We have position and a playable hand why fold?

As played I call it off since the fish is not full stacked.

but I agree that it is close.

How can folding pre always be best?

It's not good to have static opening ranges from every position.

Whether or not to open this hand, or any marginal hand, mostly depends on the button. If he's on the tighter side, and won't play back at you, then I'd open this hand all day.

If button is a total nit, and the blinds are fairly tight also, you can probably open any two cards profitably.

Yeah, button was a nit, but I'd tend to open this hand here unless BTN was going to 3bet a lot (or was going to flat a lot and was decent post).

T9s yeah sure, but T9o meh. I guess if button was a nit sure stealing sounds reasonable

Imo two ways of playing this hand calling down without being able to prot vs draws and probably loosing some value vs draws but we probably keep in some other weak random holdings. Or raising the flop bigish betting the turn in a committing way and shoving the river, this way we get probably most value from all pair hands and draws but we loose our stack vs better trip like hands.
Considering these people are terrible fish raising flop and bet calling the turn seems pretty reasonable to me. I would probably raise a little more OTF and bet bigger OTT so I can more easily shove OTR. If we play it this way I dont think we can get away from it OTT, but its probably close.
