is it better to fold, raise, or call this cbet (and why). If I'm raising, what's the size and if I'm calling, what's my turn plan? Vill is 18/9 - this is his first 3bet in 117 hands.

you are never really good enough here, I know its a royal flush draw and those ptr badges look bad as a mother****er but I think it's a fold.

if you think he can fold a set or top two here you can semibluff raise...you should prob just fold tho, the flop smacks his range in the face and his pot sized bet indicates to me that he has a strong hand and is trying to charge draws for the maximum. so i think fold > raise as a semibluff >>>>>>>>> call.

unless villain holds the Q, isn't hero almost priced in to call here? he's 36% against even top set, so the only likely hand villain can have that crushes him is QQ

edit to say that i'd fold here, but still wondering how close the math is here

yea but the thing is, we are only guaranteed one card by calling, not 2 and you have to take into account the fact that your equity plummets when you miss the turn and are almost always facing another bet. and when you DO hit, a lot of the time you cant make another dime because the board is looking super scary for villain. if you were getting 2:1 on an all in shove then yea calling would be correct.

Am I the only one raising here? You can get double pairs the fold here, sets occasionally, and only a flopped straight and a flush is ever raising here. Since we're so deep, i'm pretty sure raising here will not just give us a rough idea of his hand, but we can pretty safely stack off here when the club falls or the queen comes.
