I don't remember villian showing down any hands and I have no notes on him. At the time I called the 3bet as I had seen him 3bet a fair bit and I thought he might be trying to defend his blinds, but sample size is not great. Upon reflection I think I completely hashed this hand up but would like your input.

Thanks for the input

Not really sold on our thought process of "he 3bet a lot so I decided to call every 3bet".

Besides preflop, post flop looks rough. Why are you leading flop? Why are you leading turn?

And please say you aren't considering calling here?

If you decide to call preflop. You have to go check call if you hit your jack or king.

Also dont like the call preflop. We are oop and even when we hit it is difficult to play if bets flop, turn and river.

If you really think he 3bets light there I would go for a 4bet and take down the pot preflop.

Also buyin to 100bb.

preflop is fine vs that size etc

as played leading is terrible, in any case basically, but if you think he's light, you should expect him to at least cbet this bone dry flop with all his air

btw, why do two people make a thread about turn with river in the title?

I'm skeptical that this guy would get out of line with his 3-bets just based on his 15/14 stats. It's more likely that he's just 3-bet good hands from the blinds 2 or 3 times.

KJs is usually a snap R/C in SBvBB although in this case we maybe should factor in BB's tightness.

Donk bets are ok as long as we have an idea about why we're doing it. Like if villain has a low FCB% and we have a good hand we may want to donk. It may also be a cheaper way to fight for initiative against a wide opening aggressive opponent? If I'm taking this approach, I try to balance range between weak pair/SD value hands and strong hand/draws and refrain from check raising.

I'm not donking into this guy with tp. I'd probably take a C/C line and get sticky for 2 streets and fold to a river shove. This is open for debate, but in my experience rocks have a hard time putting the last bet in on river even with TPTK after getting flatted twice. It seems like they damn need the nuts to 3 barrel. I'm folding to the shove.
