you're calling 3bets with 77 and check/raising 344? and getting called? and getting potted after you check the turn? what do you THINK is going on?

even vs. the BB, you have to give them credit here. You're seriously over-repping your hand IMO, and that's not a good thing if you expect to win at showdown.

Calling preflop and checkraising flop doesn't make any sense.

hmm..interesting hand. At first glance it seems rather bad to flat a 3bet oop in a blind vs blind battle. Its typically a 4 bet/fold spot depending on reads obv. Maybe set mining isnt terrible considering that you are deeper than 100bbs and he has you covered. But preflop play aside...your flop play is the true crime in this hand. Why the check raise? Is it for value? are you turning it into a bluff?? On that flop i suppose you have to call the c-bet and then reevaluate the turn. Without any reads on the guy and as played the turn is a clear fold. Even if he has nothing...and by nothing i mean AKss or someting to that effect you are allowing him to outplay you with any two if we check raise flop and then check the turn to him. Id fold preflop if youre flop play isnt all that good, and judgin from this hand it appears to be the case. Wow just read that part and it sounded harsh, sorry. Just trying to help! It seems like a raise for information play that we all love so much...

If we 4bet we probably shouldn't be folding. We need 38% assuming we 4bet to $3 and he shoves and we have that vs TT+ AQs+ AQo+

OP, seriously, wtf is so ugly about the turn? It is very straightforward and simple. I think you are confused because there are no overcards to your pair on the board. Fold and move on.

I think he means 4b or fold, not 4b/f to a shove.

Unfortunately OP you pretty much butchered this hand, ceserian got it right, you min raised the turn 'for info' and owned yourself blah blah...just learn from it and move on. I hope you played one street right and folded the turn btw.

interesting. I don't mind the pre. i think you might have the equity. what are villain's stats on 3 bets? if bellow 7-9% this is set mining pure. be happy when he bets, but fold since you dont have 33 or 44!
