    villain 20/16, had 3bet me 28% of the time in 55 hands.
    100% c-bet

    So my read on him is a reg that is 3bet happy in position.

    Pre-flop, I am not folding to this chap, but a raise I think over-represents my hand.

    Flop.
    Well the inevitable c-bet and I take it for what it is and call.

    Turn:
    Its a brick.

    River:
    An ace, making it less likely he holds an ace, no draw has got there. I bet out because I have been generally trying to find spots to value bet rivers. But would I have been better to turn my hand into a bluff catcher.

    The more I look at it, the less I like my play, and as I am trying to find the right spots for value bet / bluff catcher / blocker bets on the river it would be handy to learn proper habits rather than have bad ones reinforced by results.

    Im still not happy flatting Jacks here oop no matter what has gone on. I would be 4betting here.

    As played on the river i like to check/call. Cant see what he can have that we beat that calls a value bet.

    Your doing this because you think you get a call off TT right? Or as a bluff to fold out KK/QQ?

    Is that 55 hands total, or 55 opportunities to 3bet?

    If it's 55 hands total, you're probably looking at an actual 2/7 for him 3betting you.

    It it's 28% of 55 3bet opportunities, then the guy's a total 3b maniac and his range is huge.

    There's a big difference between these two scenarios.

    Find a new table preflop unless there's a massive whale there to compensate having this guy on your left.

    As played I like your line, including pre. If we'd already 4bet him once then I might look to get JJ in preflop, but if it's our first 4bet then I want AK, QQ+ or trash to 4bet. Actually I'd bet even smaller on the river, like $0.99 or something tilting like that and type in chat, "gotta shove that 87s for your red line bro".

    @PokerRon247

    Yeah, sorry its not clear, my bad.
    55 hands total, he has 3bet me 2 given 7 opportunities.

    @blame_hofmann
    I was there for some value at the table but I did leave the table within the next orbit as having this guy with position on me is clearly not ideal.
