Looks like the sort of villain we shouldn't be folding overpairs to. Flop is fairly wet. Given effective stacks, I think we can just 3bet shove over his min-raise. Calling is pretty bad, quite a lot of cards in the deck that can improve his range or cool our action. Oh, and as played I'd still get it in.

Don't be results oriented. Fish hit sometimes, but you can always know that getting it in with a big overpair against guys like this is +EV.

Push back all in on flop. If he hit a set again or two pair, good for him, but he's calling you down with a lot worse than that.

i folded, i basically played like a pussy, the thing that made me fold was his AF of 36 he didnt seem overly aggressive just when he seemed to hit like in the previous hand.

I questioned my play straight afterwards and like you guys say i was right to and should have got it all in

Without a doubt you need to be repopping him on the flop and trying to get this in against a player like this. As played Still and easy shove overtop on the turn. Overpair vs a maniac like this is usually the nuts

AF is mostly pointless after 34 hands

You must not like money. Overpairs against megafish = the nuts.

There's a good chance I fold turn also for this reason if I get there, but I bet/3bet and get it in on the flop flop since he doesn't seem to be a winning player.

When I saw those numbers, and you seemed unsure, I thought we'd be seeing at least one overcard on the flop. Damn, son, GET IT IN!
