This really confused me.... is there anything i can do? it smells of trap the whole way.

villain is 12/8 over 80 hands. no major moved noted.

UTG: $13.15
Hero (MP): $12.70
CO: $2.45
BTN: $13.40
SB: $8.60
BB: $10.50

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is MP with Q Q
UTG raises to $0.35, Hero raises to $1, 4 folds, UTG raises to $2.50, Hero calls $1.50

i decide to level have to put 1.50 extra into $3.50 plus $8 after (so borderline). probably bad decision but i have just gotten hit by AA over KK twice in session

Flop: ($5.15) K T A (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($5.15) K (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero ????
Spoiler:

River: ($5.15) 5 (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero????

i there anything i can do, or just check back and hope for ???

I'd fire like $3 on the turn and fold to a C/R.

I'd probably be checking most rivers as well assuming he calls a turn bet.

I flat peflop against an UTG raise from a 12/8. As played, just check it down.

flatting pre here is the way to go if you think that he is so tight that he's only going to play back at our hand with AA,KK. If you getting and someone ehind squeezes it makes a back raise super profitable.
-also when he 4b you should just shove over imo, instead of calling.
