I made the shove based on instinct, because there was already so much money in the pot, and I felt I had fold eq on that board. But maybe it was spewy. I'd like to know the math here so I could say for certain.

I get it. This post looks like something a bad player who thinks they’re good would say, by using terms like math when the answer is obvious. But I’ve never said I think I’m a good player. I honestly just want to know how one could use math here. There was no other intention behind this post.

There is no easy math answer, it's about the ev of shoving vs checking. You're not folding out any better hands and are rarely getting called by worse. While the 1-1 spr is a good reason to bet, it's not good enough.

As a general rule of thumb, don’t use a ship line on that SPR.

You'd be able to calculate the EV of a shove here (assuming you range villain correctly) because both players will be all in.

(fold frequency)(pot size) + (call frequency)[(your equity)(pot size + bet size) + (villain's equity)(- bet size)]

As was said, this doesn't really help you much here, since there are too many reasons why you should check.
