Villain is 81/3/0.5 only 30 hands donks flop 25%

Should I raise flop every time passive fish donks?

I thought he had to have flopped flush or 2 pair or better on flop to be donking so large, but since its only 30 hands he may have Ax in his range or maybe has combo draw KT+ w K of clubs .

BTW On merge network there is are buttons to make bets 1/2 pot, 2/3 pot, 3/4 pot full pot and all in, and the fish have no problem mashing the big bet buttons. He was betting very fast too.

I hate that board for TPTK.

Given his range he could be holding any two cards.
But the only predictable thing about him is his aggression
You can really capitalize on that.

I don't know what his showdown % is, but floating this guy is a deff possibility. But when he shows aggression then its time to fold because you're behind.

The line he took was weird to me.
I put him on A8 or Q8

AA or QQ he is probably 3betting preflop, he will let you know when he has a big hand.

He leads out on a scary board. If you were holding a spade you could still get there so he was probably thinking in terms of sklansky bucks. If you had a spade he might be trying to get you to pay instead of peeling a free card away. Since he beats you right now if that was the case he would be trying to get value.

The turn is an 8 and in my mind he just hit a full house.
He his probably thinking if you call that then you probably have a flush.

If that was his thought process then the shove at the end would make since to me.

Then agian his VPiP is 81 so if any of those 2 cards are spades then this type of play would also work in my mind.

Can you pm me what he had? Im dying to know.
I think I over thought this hand a little.

Loose passive calling stations dont bet, if they do they are going against their nature and have a BIG hand. Raise the flop and fold to a shove / fold to a 2/3rd pot bet on the turn.

I would fold to the pot sized bet on the turn, something has happened to make him bet big like that and you arent going to figure it out unless you go broke. Its easier to just fold pick a better spot and watch his future play and hope to understand why the fish suddenly bezerked and pot bet into you.

I think he has flopped a flush or had Q8 / A8, he wouldnt play a combo draw or any draw like this as he is a calling station until he has the nuts...

P.S. AA,KK,QQ can and will be called preflop at times... this guy does not like betting or 3betting preflop so you can put AA,QQ in his range too, very rare but its still out there as diljin said "the only predictable thing about him is his aggression" typically postflop rather than preflop imo.

I agree the flop is ok to call in position and see if a club comes to release the hand in case he had a big draw and pair.
On turn I shouldve picked up that he wouldnt be betting a weak hand like 1 pair since he is a call station even on 30 hands, nd release TPTK.
It's better to let a call station bluff with a draw which will rarely happen and is not a big leak than to pay off a flopped or turned monster.
