Played this hand last night, wondering if I could have done better. Effective stacks are 60BB at the start of the hand.
$10NL, 7 players
Dealt to Hero: KdQs
Pre-Flop: 1 fold, Hero raises to $0.34, UTG+2 calls, 1 fold, BTN calls, 2 folds
Note: UTG+2 is a fish based on my observations - limping, calling OOP, paying players off w/2nd best hands. Lost 1/2 his stack in the 20 minutes or so i've been at the table.
Flop (Pot - $1.16): Qh5h6s
Hero checks, UTG+2 bets $0.50, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.50.
Turn (Pot - $2.16): 5c
Hero checks, UTG+2 bets $0.90, Hero raises to $1.89, UTG+2 calls $0.99
River (Pot - $5.94): Ac
Hero checks, UTG+2 checks

I see no reason for you to deviate from the standard bet/bet line vs a fish. Your check/call followed by check/raise line is quite bizarre.

Let's do a choose your own adventure!
1. You are playing 10NL. Are you slowplaying with the initiative against fish?
If yes, go to 2.
If no, go to 3.
2. Stop it.
3. Good.
