Villain was 25/21 over 53 hands, he seemed like a decently competent player so far. He had stacked my QQ with KK pre, and he had 4bet very small one other time to my 3bet and i folded. had seen me stack another dude by betting TT three streets in a 3 bet pot on a 9 high board. I know he saw this because after the hand the villain in question said "wtf lol" (he called me down with a pair of 2s).

Does this bluff stink?

I don't hate this. Your hand doesn't look like a missed draw, and you might have a good image for this play. Since it's a dry flop, Villain probably has a pair of some sort, and could well be waiting to see if you will indeed fire the third barrell. And if he happens to have J9 or 97, you prevent him from bluffing. However I think a $3.50 bet would accomplish everything that a $4.05 bet would.

Looks ok. Recently I've started giving up more on river cause 10nl players (regs included) don't fold after calling 2 streets.

Very good. 3.50$ would do the same job, I suppose.

yeah I'm kinda stuck betting around 4 because I bet really big for value.

I'm sure you're right at this point in the game though because villain hadn't seen many of my hands yet so the smaller bet wouldn't really be too obvious at all.

What hands would you legitimately three barrel on this board? The K would make it hard for AT/JJ/QQ to bet three streets. A thinking player might realize there aren't many hands that would bet/bet/bet for value. But this is 10NL so let's forget about that thought.

It's really dry which is a good thing, it means he's unlikely to put you on a draw and snap you off.

I don't know that I'd give the villain enough credit to fold a ten or a king. It sure seems like he has a made hand that is going to spite call you, but who knows, the triple barrel line is damn scary if he's not holding a K.

88/TT/33/8T/Kx is quite a bit of hands we can be barreling.

Right. Aside from sets, basically an unlikely two pair or KJ/KQ/AK which backed into top pair. Not many hands. Three barreling is more likely on a drawy board than on a dry one. Most medium strength hands will stop firing on a dry board at some point as you generally can't get three streets of value from 2nd pair or TPWK.

Little to no showdown value only versus J9,97 the only hands I think he calls flop/turn with and his range has T9,TJ,QT,AT that might fold to the 3rd bullet. also a stubborn 98 or A8. So I think the bluff is fine.
