as played i dont mind the flop and turn call, river is defo fold, they are never bluffing that river, given your line

Is calling mincheckraise on that drawy board such a good idea? Especially as you don't know what to do if broadway cards comes and whether they have hit bigger 2 pairs?

well we have position in the hand. from the c-min raise on the flop villian doesn't look like the greatest player. Only hand here that makes sense is AA, because I dont think 44/33 is raising that big pre in the sb

even AA is unlikely because there is only 1 combo of it out. If they check back turn, we can always check it back for pot control and fire/call a river bet

I think you can safely fold river. You can only really beat a bluff and he has to be bluffing 33% of the time around for you to break even calling.

Imo he missed his flush draw. Look at the size of bet on turn and compare it with one on river... Cmn. Playing like that u showed him weakness. I'd certainly raise that turn, if not flop... Would be also a bit ****ty if he had AJ or sth like that.

IMO this line is way too passive through flop and turn with the action and your hand - you hit top two with A4, and that is a good result. You have to be prepared to max value here and I don't think you do that on flop/turn.
PF there are good arguments for fold/call/3bet lite so it's down to villain and personal choice.
River is totally villain dependant and you don't provide any stats or history so difficult for anyone to provide advice.

I usually play this hand fast but villain had been playing aggro. I decided slow playing was the best value.
