Hey guys,

Villain in this hand plays 22/9 over 450 hands. He always takes weird lines and usually shows up with junk. It's simply a blessing to be on his right to be honest. Anyway, I think this hand is a fold 99% of the time, however he typed that he held J4 when he shoved all in on the river.

It wouldn't surprise me if he did have J4.

Poker Stars $10.00 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

BB: $10.00
UTG: $12.45
MP: $4.84
CO: $11.91
Hero (BTN): $14.14
SB: $10.76

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BTN with 9 7
1 fold, MP raises to $0.30, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.30, SB calls $0.25, 1 fold

Flop: ($1.00) 5 J Q (3 players)
SB checks, MP checks, Hero bets $0.65, SB calls $0.65, MP folds

Turn: ($2.30) T (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.30, SB calls $1.30

River: ($4.90) K (2 players)
SB bets $8.51, Hero???

Thanks guys.

You have 9 high, do you really want to call it?

hmmm. I'm not sure if you're saying my hand is as good as 9 high in this situation? Or if you have misread the board in my hand?

I don't understand, you've given a good supporting argument for why you should call, and then you say this is a fold.

Readless I think this would be a fold since it makes sense for villain to have AJ, or Adxd in his range, but if you've seen villain consistently take lines that make no sense and show up with junk then obv snap him off.

Sorry, when I said that this is a fold 99% of the time I meant against other opponents at 10nl. I just worded it badly.

This is a fold.

Against poor players like this, you will have many better spots to make money off of them. I wait and stack him later on in the session.

I agree, you're better off folding and finding better spots against players like this.

fold. donks delivering tilt is much more -EV than donks bluff you out of a hand if you ask me.

TBH, idk why you didn't take the free card when checked to you on the flop, since you were drawing and not the pre flop raiser.

And I agree, folding is best here. No point taking a risk and losing a full BI on a hero call.
