Hey guys, recently switched from FR to 6max. First hand at a table, absolutely no reads on anyone:

Poker Stars $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

SB: $10.00
Hero (BB): $10.00
UTG: $2.35
MP: $44.60
CO: $10.30
BTN: $10.35

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BB with A K
UTG raises to $0.50, 2 folds, BTN calls $0.50, 1 fold, Hero raises to $2, UTG raises to $2.35 all in, BTN calls $1.85, Hero calls $0.35

Flop: ($7.10) 5 7 5 (3 players - 1 is all in)
Hero ??

I 3bet because (a) I have no trouble shipping AKs vs the shorty, and (b) I thought BTN's flat IP looked weak (since he is against a shorty he should only be raising or folding, right?).

Is my 3bet okay? How should we proceed on this flop since we're OOP and BTN has come along for the ride?

Thanks.

I believe you are stuck flatting pre because UTG didn't min-raise which sucks. I would jam this flop probably.

Ye, raise is not complete so you can just call. I jam the flop since you and villain both got slightly more than a PSB left.

Jamming this flop Is good...getting a baby flop with a FD wen u have AKs is quite as good as it gets...i guess u r way ahead of broadway AQs and Ajs And even against mid pps.... Say 88 no club u r 50/50

What Im worried abt is tht u prolly have quite a bit of fold equity cos the btn may fold out many AQ ,AJ type of hands and the shorty might end up with a hand which u r flipping with ....I think if the btn is aggressive enuf ( unlikely since he flatted twice preflop ) then going for a c/r might be good get some value from the A high broadways...

also I think its pretty unlikely tht we r crushed on the flop ...He's not playin AA or KK ( hopefully ) by flatting twice ...
I think trying to go for a b3b or a c/r if possible might be most ev ...It might not be possible but It would be best if he got committed with AQ AJ type of hands...But this must be achieved on the flop cos on a non club turn u would be a 2 to 1 dog...(against mid pps tht is )

So against passive or calling station type of players Jamming is best
And against aggressive players c/r or b3b would be best

only thinking aloud...
