Hey everybody, I'm trying to make it a point to post more hands and analyze my play more thoroughly, so here it goes.

Villain is a 16/14 over 111 hands. Pretty standard TAG, plays his draws aggressively although now that I think about it I can't see him jamming a draw like this.

On the flop, I think his range is a lot of TP hands, JA, JK, JQ, JT, J9, 99+. I think this flop smacks his range pretty hard, so I was planning to see a turn and reevaluate.

Turn card is pretty much horrible for my hand, completing some of the draws, and putting more draws in his range.

This is where I lose it. i have no idea what I should do. Is c/c a good line here? C/F? When the J comes on the river and Villain bets over a bit over 1/2 pot, is this a clear fold? Looks like a pretty solid value bet, but would he be doing this with worse?

Thanks everyone

I would stack off on that flop. giving up the initiative oop is not a good idea here.
As played fold the river.

But the big mistake here was made on the flop. just 3bet shove.

You could also donk turn for like 5 or 5.50 if you choose not to 3b the flop.

I agree that it should be a re-raise on the flop, chances are your good unless he hit the nuts on the flop. Even if you decided to just call flop i prefer an all in on turn....unless you think he called your raise pre and raised your flop bet with q/j or 10/8, which in my opinion is unlikely. River is pretty much horrible card for you so i just c/f.

i think the river is close, actually. there aren't a lot of hands that make sense for him other than QT/AJ. QT isn't in his pf calling range, and AJ might not even be. he might not raise AJ on the flop. he might bet more with it on the river. he can have KQ or sometimes bluffed with some random underpair on the flop and tried again on river. i think i would call actually. its close enough and i'd like to see what he played this way.

i don't really think the turncard is really that horrible, only hands that improved on it are KT/T8/QJ and QQ obiously, but given the Q and the raise on the flop, he's quitte unlikely to be holding any of those (maybe KT though), and with even more draws out there now, im def betting this turn

i agree with the above posters about flop, 3bet this flop!

Looks like he flopped a set and rivered a full boat, imo. Either 55/99. River is a vbet, puke and fold.

Stacking off on the flop is probably best, you either had it or you didn't.

He is never checking the turn with a set.
