Villain has been somewhat nitty (14/10). Before you tell me to fold pre, the players behind me are either nitty or very fishy which is why i played the pot, and A9s can flop big vs someone (such as villain) who is deeper than 100bb. This was back when i first was getting into 10NL FR (from 25NL 6max, lost some buyins so was looking to decrease variance/build BR) so my range was wider than it should have been due to the adjustment.

SB: $3.30
BB: $10.75
UTG: $10.00
UTG+1: $9.08
Hero (UTG+2): $26.31
MP1: $13.73
MP2: $7.23
CO: $1.75
BTN: $7.14

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is UTG+2 with A 9
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.30, MP1 calls $0.30, 5 folds

Flop: ($0.75) Q A 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.50, MP1 calls $0.50

A and Q here makes it a nice flop for a c-bet, so i throw one out there expecting a fold. The call behind on flop and the call here made me thinking he had some spades, a Q, or maybe a similar ace. Of course 22 is in his range as well but considering the range i feel i am ahead as well as having the initiative makes it likely i can take the pot there.

Turn: ($1.75) 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $1.10, MP1 raises to $3, Hero calls $1.90

Nice card for me here, gives me a nut flush draw with a pair so i have some good equity. I could have checked here and hope he would check behind, but if he is chasing spades i would rather him out of the pot here. The c/r kind of annoyed me but 1.90 for ~6 is good enough for a call (considering implied odds). Considering the stats on the villain this check raise is probably for some sort of value and not a semi-bluff so i don't think the naked ace will be good here, but if i hit my hand i can definitely stack him on the river.

River: ($7.75) 9 (2 players)

All other streets aside, you called the turn to hit the flush on the river because that's what you need to improve. You hit 2 pair, but never beat the villain's turn value raising range. C/f river unless you improve.

You made a plan on the turn, now stick to it.

1. Fold pre :-)
2. Fold pre again... cause nitty villains all call with a better Ace (more so since you raised UTG+2)... that leads us to my next point
3. I prefer to check the flop cause a 14/10 either has a better ace or is way behind. Sure there is a flush out there but I dont like creating a big pot OOP with a very very mediocre hand and that is A9 on a AQ2-board OOP vs. a 14/10. Also there are not that many FDs out there IMO since the Qs is already on the board. I like a bet here if villain is something like 24/5 which means he has some worse aces and queens in his range.
4. As played I think calling the turn is slightly +EV but only cause we would make a runner runner flush for which villain might give us less credit if we donk the river.
5. River is a clear c/f. For the 9d or 9c I would go for a c/call.
