Pre is fine I think, not folding AQo BU vs Blind to a 4bet (though it's a big 4bet)

I like the hand as played up until the river, I'm folding here.

I 3-bet/fold pre. You can flat the 4-bet with AQs, but the offsuit variant isn't gonna play so well.
Does villain ever bluff that river? You're chopping at best with any Ax, and I think he's gonna show up with AK+ more often. If villain was me (it wasn't), I always have you beat if I take this line, because AA, JJ, AJ and (some) AK are the only hands I bet on the flop. (I check back my worse Ax hands that were 4-bet bluffs, and also check back KK/QQ).
I think villain would need to have some very light/random 4-bets in his range for you to actually win this hand outright.

I agree with all of this but don't think he is checking back KK

4 betting BTN vs sb 3bet is usually pretty strong. Your bet OOP is strong so he is indicating he can beat that with the lack of history between you 2.

I only say this because I make the mistake (i think) of calling too often obviously.
The rest of your play I am fine with except the river call.

Maybe you could be right....but 3-4 times against such a bet you are not right and can cause serious leaks in your game.

Again, I only say this because I got the same problem

it's well played but you should fold some Ax

Well if you're going to call the 4bet OOP and hit your Ace, I think you need to be ready to ship it.

I'm likely not calling PF unless I have a read that vil will 4bet light with some frequency.
