10NL- 2 hands with an ugly river card 10NL- 2 hands with an ugly river card

I'm running fairly tight early in the session. In the first hand villian is running 58/19/5.0 in 26 hands. Small sample and I haven't seen villian show down much. I catch a piece of the flop and decided to call figuring if I hit a good card villian would probably bet out again with his AF. I hit my card on the turn and think I played that properly. The river hits an ugly card and villian leads out again. At this point I have 50% of my stack in and am getting close to 3-1.

CO: $2.95
Hero (BTN): $9.45
SB: $2
BB: $10.65
UTG: $10.25
MP: $10.95

Pre-Flop: T 9 dealt to Hero (BTN)
UTG raises to $0.20, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.20, 2 folds

Flop: ($0.55) T 8 A (2 Players)
UTG bets $0.55, Hero calls $0.55

Turn: ($1.65) T (2 Players)
UTG bets $1.65, Hero raises to $4, UTG calls $2.35

River: ($9.65) A (2 Players)
UTG bets $5.50 and is All-In Hero???

In this hand villian is runnning 23/6.8/.47 in 34 hands. I'm running very tight early in this session as well. Again I find myself in a situation where my hand is most likely defined by my betting and I find myself with half my stack in OOP with TPTK on a river that completes many draws. Is this clearly a check/fold situation?

What was your plan in hand one on the turn if you miss? If say Qc comes off, or a diamond or a complete blank like 2s and villain pots it? I think it is easy to bleed money vs this kind of opponent in spots like this. I think that question has more impact on your winrate than wether villain hit his two-outer or not on the river.

In hand two I think you valuetowned yourself, villain is clearly passive enough to play AA or KK like this. He could also have QQ I suppose. We don´t really have enough hands to get a reasonable range for his pfr or if he is tighter UTG. If think you can comfortably check and fold to any bet bigger than $1.50.

fold pf, raise more on the turn.

pretty easy river fold, i don't think he is ever bluffing.

Perhaps it is a bleed but I'm more opt to float on the button when I catch a piece. The experience I have, and hence my read in these situations is that min-raises tend to be, but not always are, small pairs or suited. Axs is definitely possible here. If villian pots the turn on any card that doesn't help my hand I'd be done with it. I suspect I might trap myself if any 9 peels off.

The main issue I had with the river is that I put in half my stack and may or may not have gotten outdrawn. Even if the probability leans towards me being behind I was curious if this is clearly a lay down. In retrospect, my thoughts of half my stack and 3-1 on the call should have gone out the window.

Why is the a clear fold to a UTG min raise when on the button? There is still plenty behind to play for.

Two easy folds.

Hand 1 : Do you really think he's betting twice & calling a turn raise with anything less than an ace here? Pretty easy river fold.

Hand 2 : Fairly standard check/fold river unless he bets a ridiculously low amount.
