I normally fold weak offsuit aces to raises oop in the first level. Should I be shoving here? It was the beginning of the 50/100 level

I like the shove. It's a non-exploitable call vs. a shove and you probably have some decent fold equity. If this guy has a tight preflop raising range and/or if you don't think he ever folds to a 3bet here, then waiting for a better spot is OK, but I don't think its ever a bad push.

This all depends on your opponent. You must have some sort of read on how tight his preflop range is by now. Some opponents I might think are raising loose, but they are playing way too tight from the BB and I know if I fold this hand, I can win it back by stealing future hands, so why put all my chips at risk here when I have a larger advantage later. There are other opponents that are wild/aggressive and I know I'm going to have to make a stand sooner or later, or risk getting blinded away, and in that case this might look like a good spot to do it.

Yea, great advice guys. The problem is, this guy was tight. He ended up with 99 I believe and won the match. I should of flatted vs. him. It was just that it was the first hand of the new level and I felt I had the f-equity. thanks

Flatting is terrible. In fact, i dont even like the shove with the weak unsuited ace because of the stack sizes. Fold pre.

Yea never ever ever flat call this.

If villain doesn't raise p/f all that often, fold. If villain raises p/f frequently, shove. Don't flat call.
