100NL - TP2K against a bully - Embrace the variance? 100NL - TP2K against a bully - Embrace the variance?

I know this is small stakes, but I am in the process of trying to move up and have always posted here and I value the advice I get from the micro forum.

Villain was a table bully playing 78/58/8 over the few orbits I had been at the table. His actions in the hand were typical and he was getting a lot of folds from his overbets on the flop. He obviously had also won a couple of hands.

I didn't feel it was necessary to raise preflop, because I knew villain would get money in later. I just wanted to hit the flop and I did.

Fist pump? or Foolish?

Fwiw, this hand took place early New Year's Day.

What other flop were you looking for to get it in vs this guy? You hit the hand you were looking for, knew he was going to overbet the pot and now you shove. Embrace the variance and stack him next time.
