100NL softer than 50? 100NL softer than 50?

So after 3.5k hands at 50NL my ev adjusted bb/100 is 12.8. I've played a similar number of hands at 100NL and have made a bit over $500 (14.2 bb/100?). I don't have any precise data on this (b/c ironically I only bought PT4 small stakes, which was meant to keep me from playing 100NL+ ). I mean, obviously I've been running pretty good over my 100NL stint, but it seems like the competition there is softer than 50. There's way fewer regs, more fish, fewer nits, way fewer 100bb BIs, and less aggression. I'm winning a bit better there and I'm HUDless. It just feels like a lot of the 50NL players who don't play much 100NL are better at brm, taking the game more seriously, and are just better as a group. Anyone else feel this way? Maybe it's just Merge (and other US sites), since I'm sure 100NL+ is tough at FT and Stars. This is not a troll and could be unique to Merge, but I don't play anywhere else so I wouldn't know.

Either they respect your raises or it's a sample size issue.

Apparently at least one other person on the planet noticed the same thing I did. Therefore it is undoubtedly a valid hypothesis!
