100nl: 3bet turn as a bluff? (HU) 100nl: 3bet turn as a bluff? (HU)

Villain is squishee, a very good regular who likes to play HU at 6max tables. I have him at 39/34 over 200 hands, but that's 6max and HU combined.

He views me as very laggy and bluffy, and someone who loves to take stabs. He doesn't like to fold, and often makes big bluffs and stabs. I've also noticed that since he bluffs so much he tries to balance by cbetting when he hits any pair on the flop

I first considere donking flop, what do you think about that? How about c/r?

I'm pritty sure he has nohing when he checks back flop, as he'd cbet 8x or 5x close to 100% of the time. So I decide to take a stab, planning on firing most rivers.

When he raises, I have a feeling he's just full of it, since he loves to raise my stabs. I think i rep 5x or strong 8x here pritty well.

Given that, how's my line?

how does he play in 3bet pots? f3b? consider 3betting k9s pre
do you have a history of donk-betting and him folding? regardless i think either donkling or c/r a hand like k9c on this type of board vs this guy is spew - he'll either peel or raise you a lot if you dont and you dont even have any bd equity

i think turn is fine once in a while. i see aggro - relatively thinking players take this line a ton when they are aware that their range is really weak and you are donking a lot here. id make i tiny bit more than min though

you are polarizing your range here and i'd rather float than 3bet this turn if i'm going to bluff.

You never represent a good 8 here, only a 5, maybe some sort of 67dd that you play crazy. He can have a 5 too.

Nah, from what I've seen from him he cbets when he has any kind of pair. And since this is just starting tables on a 6max table, I doubt he's balaning his range or anything.

well the problem is he's getting the option to bluff last. meaning if he decides you are full of it he can go all in with air and there is nothing you can do about it. Also he has more fives than you in his range. Take a look at a similar hand me vs a solid 2p2 member at NL100. We exchanged histories after the match, we both have complete air in this hand.

BB: $105.20
Hero (BTN/SB): $121.50

Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero is BTN/SB with 8 T
Hero raises to $3, BB calls $2

Flop: ($6.00) 4 6 2 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($6.00) 2 (2 players)
BB bets $5, Hero raises to $15, BB raises to $35, Hero raises to $118.50 all in, BB folds

villain had 87o ... i knew he was full of it, he knew i didn't have anything either , but i get to put the last raise

if you think he's not on that level then your play is fine i guess, although you rep mostly boats & slowplayed overpairs that decided not to 3bet in my view

Why do you need to bluff with K high here? Also, he can have a five. You cant have a five. Just fold. If he can hand read he isnt folding anyways, and if he cant he isnt folding because fish dont fold. Hejja sverige btw.
