Reads: Villain is a fish that calls all 3bets pre, playing straight-forward most of the times, but capable of bluffing a little here and there.

I think the results might be skewing your analysis. Seems like an easy river shove if you've been playing him relatively aggressively.

I probably bet a little bigger on the turn, but w/ his stack, it probably doesn't change the hand much.

If adjusting my preflop raise from 3x to 2x due to his 3-betting frequency and letting him keep going crazy while I waited for value hands is considered passive, then yes, I wasn't playing relatively aggressive. Ofcourse, I was cbetting hands I raised and getting folds out of respect often but I still consider that I was relatively passive because I never 4-bet-bluff him once (because he would never fold his junk anyway), wouldn't try to double-barrel once he called flop, etc.

So then on the river, am I only getting called by hands that beat me? Considering that we hadn't really gone to showdown much and the fact that he was a losing player, couldn't he try looking me up with weaker jacks, maybe even 9s?

Can I really ever check-fold here with so little of his stack left behind? Bigger stacks would command a bet-fold I presume.

Having played passively definitely makes it interesting. I don't see many jacks getting to the river, and they might find a fold given the dynamic. I personally probably still end up shoving the river given it's a fish (depending on the feel of the match), but I can't say I think it's that much better than c/f'ing as gross as that might feel there.
