30 or 40 hands in. So far villain seems like a passive/bad fish. He's playing ~55% on the SB. He has not yet folded to a 3-bet and folded to 1 of 3 c-bets in 3-bet pots. This is his first flop raise. Villain is a steady loser over 10k hands according to PTR.

More pre, I would probably raise here, wouldn't be surprised to find a set here against a fish. Min raise is almost always the nuts. How passive do you think he is?

this post is good, but his cbet size on flop is perfect. actually could be slight smaller.

edit: they are playing 86bbs, so his 3bet pf size is also fine. but 10bbs its also fine. 11bbs w/ this stack size its bad imo.

i cant understand wich is the mistake to 3-bet 10bb (9 can be a mistake), I think it is just mutter of style to play than a really theoretical mistake.
IMO its a really easy shove on the flop to charge the draw and get value by worse hands

Easy get 3bet shove on flop... if he caught 2 pair or set - nothing you can do... but he can have flush draw, straight draw 10x... and so on..

Basically you don't ever fold AA in 3bet pot unless the guy is super nit and flop comes 8910 hearts and you get raised but have no heart...

I think PF is fine because of stacksizes. The agaiin I usually only make it 9x if I'm bluffing a log (againt a better player). Against a fish you should make it as big as you can get away with.

I'd shove over his RR on the flop, because you usually have the best hand and also there's a lot of money in the pot.

Yeah I don't have auto-reload on as I think shortstack fish are less likely to run if I don't reload (don't have any real proof of this) and as long as I cover them I don't care about not being full. Lost a hand the previous hand and didn't have time to reload, and being 86 bb deep is why I made it 9 (otherwise it would have been 10 or 11).

Anyway, thanks for the responses, I did shove- T9o ftw. I only posted this hand as I am like 0-7 in this same spot with overpairs against bad villains who don't fold/fold to few 3-bets (suited trash is so money against me) this month.

Hell I'd be up 12-15 buy-ins more this month if I could get away from TpTk or overpairs in 3-bet pots. Just reevaluating whether I am running bad or overplaying overpairs and TpGk in 3-bet pots.

I too am in the camp that believes his range (and ranges in similar spots) should contain lots of draws, worse made hands being overvalued, etc., but it always seems to be set, two pair, straight, etc.
