why would you ever raise flop?

I think checking and betting are both fine. Vs a nitty guy I prefer to bet.

raising the flop is fairly std vs lots of regs who cbet too wide, just cause it's more +EV to bluff them than bluffcatch vs them as they don't twobar very wide, esp on this texture. Readless though flatting flop and checking behind turn is fine cause **** knows what betting/continuing/checking/calling/shoving ranges an unknown can have here and it's a kind thin vbet vs all but fishy players

raise flop against unknown is pretty bad. as said both checking and betting are fine though I might bet around 60% turn for thin value from overs+gutshots and spades.

Don't like reraising flop as no idea what his UTG range is or how agg, so we have to fold if he shoves.

I'd bet turn when he checks every time. Think most villains would cbet again with overpairs as unless you have Q9 he is likely still ahead. I'd bet 2/3rds pot. If he calls I think we're behind (he's playing overpair weakly) and he's planning on ch/calling hand down if river is a brick. We can still hit our open-ender and value bet like 1/2 pot on river maybe, if we don't I think check back river

3bet pre, you will take it down right there a surprising amount of the time. I would be betting the turn here often, for value and cause you have 8 outs to the nuts.

so you want to turn 99 into a bluff pf?

I may bet to try to fold out Tx but I probably check it back.

No, I dont want to turn 99 into a bluff. I want him to call with worse but I expect a lot of folds.

I dont like 3betting an UTG raise with 99 and position. When he checks the turn he's either giving up or pot controlling, either way bet turn imo
