fold. why not wait for a hand that has a chance of having him dominated or 60/40?

"Short stacked".. really? We are talking 36xbb here. In a SNG that's not really short stacked imo but I guess definition is different from person to person ^^

I fold here most of the time. 36xbb with 33 is just too much as you are never more than like 55% favorite at best.
I could see myself calling on very rare occasions against a villain who had shoved his last 5-10 hands ect.

You should write whatever read you may have. In HU everything is "depends" and it's just tough to answer if you post hands without any reads to them.

I would probably call with 77 or better. That brings in a chance of him having Ax or a smaller pair.

calling with 33 is not a winning play. see the problem with calling is yes, you're ahead by a small % but u don't have to take this gamble and the momentum of the match can easily change. if u take this flip and the villain wins, he's gonna go into hyper aggro mode which can be a challenging style to play against. fold here and keep waiting, u dont want the momentum of the match to change. my cutoff point would be 88 +. so just wait for a much better spot, the blinds are tiny..
keywords: momentum, patience, much harder to play villain after he wins race(confidence boost or w/e it is)

what is your reasoning behind this?
just to try and finish the match quickly?
You will be 50/50 at best and if your opponent wins you will be back to square one.

Why do you think he is tilting?

I think this is bad. If he is tilting, its even worse. You are essentially 50% v a random hand here. I think we can find a better spot v a tilting opponent.

You also have to include the psychological impact of losing a flip here or worse being dominated, to start over with no momentum.

I am calling with 55+ here. Its 60% v a random and has good equity v an Ax hand (57%) which he probably has. In my experience, he isn't pushing a random here (unless this is like the 3rd push in a row). Its more likely a good hand hoping to get looked up light.

Question for skates:

How big does villains stack need to be before you fold 22?
