Game is 4 handed and has been playing pretty straightforward. Villain is std TAG who used to beat MSNL online but is pretty much a live pro now. We have spewed a little bit against each other but nothing super crazy.

CO Folds, BTN raises to 100, Hero 3bets to 400 in SB w/ AKs, BB makes it 1K, BTN folds and Hero...?

Yea cannot imagine doing anything but flatting here this deep. I'd probably get in up to 300bb or so given the huge sizing and him being an online kid. Maybe even more but it depends.

5bing would be over repping your hand, difficult to play postflop if called, and behind his 6bing range, call.

Completely agree without more history or information.

Should we be flatting out entire non-folding range?

In order to flat your continuing range depends on the range of hands with which he continues, how he continues, and stack sizes. Any time we want to bluff, we should have some good hands to reraise as well; so flatting everything is bad for that reason.

If he four bets hands like AQ-AK, 99-QQ, planning to call your five bet, then you should have a 'wide' range for value. If he four bets a more polarized range, then calling makes more sense to keep in hands that will bluff you and to play back at his bluffing hands.

You'll have to weigh the value of the different options based on the player and your history with him, but flatting your entire range of hands would not be that great of a game plan just because of how it limits you and how it makes your range inherently stronger, and easier for your opponent to make decisions against.

Any merits to just flatting the bu open this deep? Esp with such a disguised hand

I prolly 5b to 2400, wouldnt mind flatting if we were IP with tons of hands including this but honestly don't mind over repping the hand here and expect to get a lot of folds on the flop if we are called.

I think we can safely fold now. Sucks, but were just so crushed and looking at AA so often here. Hes not making this play with QQ, and i think he might need to tank with KK here before deciding to play for stacks with a 6b
