why is hero a tight passive player?

has there been any table dynamics, any weird hands btn got to showdown with?
why do you lead turn? as played, fold turn.

i would have to have a real good read to consider anything else than folding once we get to the river.

check to btn after he raises as default.. then fold turn if he bets a normal size

Hero is tight passive because we play together all the time, its known by the entire table that he is tight passive.

what do you guys think both BTN's min raises represent? A strong hand?

so why would a Strong hand make a potsize/overbet on the river?

everyone was so deep because we had like 8 players and two of them rebought 2-3 times. and the pre flop raise was pretty large, i didnt make the play, me and a buddy were just really curious to what other people would do in Heros situation

Hero is obvious some kind of ****** so doesn't really matter what we do in heroes shoe.

First of all : What the hell are you doing with a maniac sitting at your left when he knows you are tight-passive ??? Sit out !
You are actually asking to be exploited and this hand is the perfect example.

As played, I would just check-call all the way.
NO WAY I'm folding to any minraise vs a LAG.
Pre-F : When he calls IP, he can have any 2 cards, planning to take advantage against a tight predictable player.
F : C-betting is fine. And his raise should not scare you at all. It was expected. He is probably going to do this with all of his range. Just call.
T : Betting here is TERRIBLE. It actually looks like what it is : a pathetic "please stop raising me" blocking bet. Typically the kind of action LAGs are living for.
R : It sucks to see such a huge bet here. But you kind of set yourself for this with your bet-bet-check line. I would probably hero-call this one. His line looks really like random blind aggression. There are few hands he could have done this with : 66-22-JT (QJ would probably raise more on the T)
Some fishy opponents like to slowplay their monsters this way (AA-KK-QQ) but all in all his line makes no sense and if he has got you beat he certainly played it pretty bad.
You only have to be right about 30% of the time. Just call.
