new to cash, played alot of tourneys, with good success, not sure on a few simple spots pre tho

what do we do here 100bb deep preflop?

3bet/fold is ok. simple math problem. villain needs to be 4betting wider than QQ/AK+ for shoving to be 0ev-ish.

you aren't 100bb deep because you didn't buy in full. also post in fr, this is 6max forum.

I would rather flat than 3bet/fold tbh. I prob just get it in. Edit: wait this is nitring, I guess getting it in here is bad? I have no idea.

Why to 3bet/fold such a huge hand, if you can call? You can bluff with 89s...

because we perceive that villain can conceivably call with worse (AQ etc), and fold 'better' (22 etc)

we aren't bluffing
