UTG raises to 4 BB, MP raises to 11 BB, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 31 BB, fold, MP raises to 128.5 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 76.5 BB and is all-in
Flop:(219.5 BB, 2 players) Q 3 6
Turn:(219.5 BB, 2 players) T
River:(219.5 BB, 2 players) J
My question is 4 bet or flat?
Spoiler:
Hero shows K A (Straight, Ace High)
(Pre 34%, Flop 13%, Turn 16%) MP shows K K (One Pair, Kings)
(Pre 66%, Flop 87%, Turn 84%) Hero wins 209 BB

I 4-bet/stack off, athough it's probably a losing proposition up 10NL due to the rake and the nitty 3-bettors.
You need villain to be 3-betting about 4.5% in this specific positional battle (where ranges are super-tight) for 4-bet/stacking off to be good, and this villain is only 3-betting <5% overall.
On a good day, you're in great shape vs AKo, but you're gonna run into QQ+ more often I think.

That's roughly how often Snowie says MP should be 3-betting, with stuff like ATs, A5s-A2s, KQs, 65s being 3b/folds. If villain has no "bluffs" in his 3-bet range, 4-betting AK just builds the pot for villain's value-hands.
I tend to go with QQ+/AK no matter what, but it's clearly losing if villain never folds to the 4-bet. A huge amount of EV with AK comes from fold equity, and most of the rest comes from getting all in with about 40% equity with the dead money as padding.
I find at the micros you can’t really profitably cold 4bet profitably anything past KK+ or KK+ AK v these seats so I just have an uncapped cold call range. Anyone else do the same?
I've just realised I misread the hand. I thought hero was UTG.
If he's cold 4-betting in BB and MP 5-bets, all AK combos are folds. Even QQ is in a horrible spot. Villain should always have KK+.
@Andy, I don't think anything but QQ/JJ can just cold call in this spot. I'd typically 4-bet QQ+ and all the best blockers (AK, AQs, AJs, maybe AQo). It's obviously profitable to trap with aces, but I prefer to raise anything I'm playing. There's a lot of dead money out there, and cold 4-bets usually get a LOT of respect.
