I see you've tightened up pre(fold)

IMO,

Bet flop.

Turn x is fine.

Bet/fold river.

Either bet the flop or check/raise, hard to imagine x/c not being the worst way for us to put money in this pot with a gutshot that creates a 4 straight board.

AP I prefer check/calling the river. Give this guy a chance to bet his QTo and other 1 heart hands. It's hard to imagine what we get value from if we bet river and checking just looks like we gave up.

LOL i know PF should be a fold most of the time. Just trying some new strats out.

I would of bet this flop if i had no piece of the board but since I can x/c at least one street I decided to check. Not sure if that is good logic or not

What sizing for the river just like 2/3 PSB?

WRT to river play: Doesn't Villain's Ax hands just check back and go to showdown? People love to be hero's with Ace high so why not bet the river.

WRT to flop:XR seems super aggro, I can see if i had a BDFD but this hand won't improve enough on many turns for me to barrel. And I won't even know which card's are good for me and bad for him since ranges are so wide.

That's more true on boards where the draws brick. I don't see it being that close.

Then you should check fold. This is close to the bottom of our range so we either fold or turn it into a bluff.

Thanks for the responses guys. I ended up checking the river and Villain checked back A4o. Still not sure if I like a check or bet on the river. Also agree bet flop is better

opening pre is fine if guy is overfolding enough, but don't open this arbitrarily.

flop x is fine
x/r > x/c ~ x/f probably

would overbet river I think -- bet something though
