Other than that the Bay Area which I don't really like all that much, but San Francisco is nice. Best option there would probably be UC-Berkley. They have some pretty good poker there too, but not like L.A. Plus I think Vegas is a further drive from the Bay than it is in L.A.

San Diego sounds nice and i'll defo check it out along with Berkley.

Thanks

you are kind of all over the place with academics. berkeley is one of the best schools (best public school in the world) so will be really big on academics.

I don't think it will be a problem, I have excellent qualifications and been doing well on my course just now. I would stand a shot at Berkley I think but I know it will be extremely tough. Many will get turned away with good grades but you have to at least try.

In the ideal world I would go to a school where I could cruise past and not put in a massive amount of effort but if I got accepted into a top school then I would put in the extra effort etc.

The dream school would have hot chicks, good poker and party scene, good weather, nice beach and a decent reputation, in that order

I'm not asking for much, am I?

Seriously dude, USC for all of the above.

Yeah pretty much USC would be first, followed by UCLA. This is assuming you'd get into these schools. Also what field academically you're interested in matters. USC is closer to poker, UCLA is closer to the beach.
