Trading Job--Looking for entry level and summer interns Trading Job--Looking for entry level and summer interns

I trade futures in chicago for a small prop trading firm. I'm looking for bright people who are good with math and risk. If you have any interest please send your resume to futurestradingjob@gmail.com or PM me.

We do a lot of stat arb/market making/day trade. Currently we mainly trade interest rate and commodity futures. The firm is doing very well and there is a lot of opportunity. Even in light of recent events we can't hire people fast enough (we can be a little too picky). Ideally the person would come from a top school with strong math background (engineering, physics, etc) and has business knowledge about fixed income and derivatives. Also strong excel skills. If you have any questions please feel free to post,PM, Email.

I love my job and wear whatever I want to work, drink beers usually on fridays, play ping pong. There is a lot of opportunity so thought I would share. I could use some more denegrates in the office.

Is an internship opportunity only open to current juniors, or would it be possible to extend it to current sophomores as well?

Are you aware that most prop firms are pretty much scams?

Using a gmail address to take resumes seems sketchy.

Some are scams that will hire anyone and then want you to put up the capital. Or the "arcades" where they just tell you to start trading and if you don't make money you are fired.

None of that. You start out as an assistant trader with the expectation that you will eventually be trading your own book and have your own assistant trader. This can take a year or two. Lots of bright people from ivys and other top schools.

No, using gmail isn't sketchy people do it all the time on bloomberg job postings. Its so you don't have people trying to call you or get you on the phone. This usually happens with the unqualified.
