I really like the raybans posted by agdci, but I UofL made a good point of lifeguarding probably not being the best place, and could cause them to break/scratch, so Im thinking of getting a pair but also getting a cheap pair of some other shades to use while life guarding. Need to get some nice shades anyway.

Only thin is I have a slightly wider head than most people, so I will probably have to go to a sunglasses hut to try on the raybans and see how they fit.

Being a lifeguard is one of the only acceptable reasons to have croakies.

Being a pro golfer is another.

That's about all I can think of. Do not wear them socially lol

I like those raybans though

You could check out framesdirect.com. You won't be able to try them on, obviously, but they are able to change the size of the glasses.

The problem with them is that they aren't easy to just slip on and off your sunglasses so they're always on my sunglasses.

I do golf and I was a frat douche so your stereotype still holds.

I am looking for a pair of shoes for every day use, not trainers/sneakers/whatever you call them where you live.

Any suggestions?

I think I have either 3 or 4 (whichever the non-polarized ones are because with polarized I can't see **** on my dashboard in my car) with the silver frames.

+1 to any Ray Ban sunglasses. It amazes me how people won't spend $100 for a pair of nice sunglasses. Sunglasses don't wear out like clothing, and your eyes are really ****ing important.

I think this is interesting, up to this day, I tied my shoes wrong.

How to do it.

This, from a guy that claims to not waste his time watching stupid YouTube videos?

Credibility, shot.

Without trying to derail the thread further, I am watching YouTube videos, but most of them are informative of some sort, I watch maybe 1 "funny" video per day, that's what I was mostly referring to.

This is not a stupid video for obvious reasons.

In that case, you'll surely love this video about how to put on a shirt!

No way on earth watching a TED talk can ever be considered a waste of time.

I kinda forgot about this, but the shoes I've been wearing pretty much suck, so I do need to buy a new pair soon. FMO, why do you say that neither of these shoes go with jeans? I feel like the second pair might be a stretch, but unless my memory sucks, it seems like I see a lot of guys wearing shoes similar to pair 1 with jeans.

Post some shoes itt that are dressy and can go with either jeans or with black slacks. Maybe I'm doing it wrong?

Everyone in Europe, I recommend Loake 1880s. Biggest bang for the buck.

gcg, i'm not sure why i don't like that and i'm sure some people think they look good. i think these would look better (at least with jeans, but would also be fine with slacks)

fwiw, there's are a couple of dudes in Malaysia selling raybans for $30-50 on eBay. every day there's like a million models for sale. for example: http://cgi.ebay.com/RayBans-Aviators...item3a672e66ec

common sense tells me these are fake because they are from Malaysia and cost $50. they probably are, but the glasses and packaging looks so legit they might actually somehow be real. a friend of mine bought a "real" pair soon after i got mine and we compared the two. lo and behold, everything was EXACTLY the same, down to the placement of stickers and instruction manual. really weird.

anyway, i got mine for $40 or so. thought i'd just throw it out there.

i've seen some pretty solid fakes in tourist cities for like $7-$15
