Yes I own shoe trees for all of my shoes. And I wear all of my shoes. And my ****ty shoes are expensive so new soles are cheaper than getting more pairs.

Want/need sunglasses opinions. Before I ask, has anyone heard of the ridiculous notion of not wearing sunglasses in the winter--Only in the summer? Someone told me that in a certain country in Europe they don't wear sunglasses in the winter months. This person is just ******ed, right?

Yes. The sun comes out plenty in the winter.

I mostly like and want aviators. In the past Carrera made a good quality pair, and were generally nice looking. I sitll think they look good, but the quality is very bad these days.

Ray-ban's aviators are simply too small for my face/head. The only pair that will fit my face are Gucci aviators. I'm def going to be getting a pair of Oliver People's a la Michael Douglas in "A Perfect Murder" and maybe even a pair of Persols, but I want a cheapie pair of aviators I can wear when I just don't give a ****. Amazon has a lot of the Carrera glasses at good prices, so I'll probably just pick up a pair or two to have whenever I'm not wearing the OP's.

I'd still like ideas though.

Euros are weird. I mean, most people wear sunglasses for aesthetic purposes anyway. But, it's odd the looks you get when the sun is just starting to set and yo are STILL WEARING YOUR SUNGLASSES OMG!!!1

Depends where you live/ what you're doing.

If its sunny use them. If its raining don't. If you're hungover use them. Common sense. If you're a rockstar then wear them whenever you like esp at at night.

If I'm outside during the day I'm wearing sunglasses, cloudy or not. UV light is just as bad for your eyes as it is for your skin.

Not detracting from your point, still obv a good idea to wear sunglasses/ski goggles/something to cover your face. I've had nasty 2nd degree burns on my face from that.

It isn't. The UV index is around 1-2 in the winter. Generally 1. It's higher elevation and reflection off the snow that causes sunburn. However, it doesn't even double the UV strength, so it would probably take 4+ hours just to get a sunburn, whereas for a summer day, would probably only take 30 minutes to get that same sunburn.

Any exposure to UV rays to your eyes isn't good for them. It can't hurt to wear sunglasses when raining, even though I wouldn't ever.

Sounds ridiculous to wear them when it's raining/ over cast.

Is op applying sunscreen as well?

Eyes are so low 24/7 I have to wear shades all day long
