You can get better clothes cut and quality-wise without the branding for the same amount or less if you just look around a bit.
i dont wear anything off the rack so cut really isnt a big deal to me. even my casual shirts are tailored (and i have to get everything b gstarr taken in on the back)

So my mom picked me up an H&M shirt the other day. The material is very cheap but the L fitted shirt fits me amazingly well. I usually have to special order my stuff but for some reason this shirt fit very well. Of course the first time I wash it I am sure it will shrink considerably but at least I can get 1 good wear out of it before it does so.

I am guessing the opinions on this store are pretty low?

You get what you pay for, I have a few plain t's from them for 6$ ill wear to class somedays or around the house. They will shrink a decent amount.

Don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but if you go on reddit there is a subreddit somewhat similar to this thread (semi-hipster warning though).
A lot of it is just hyping desert boots and button downs, but there are usually some other good discussions. Check out the sidebar for some popular topics.

Also, there's one for clothing deals, but it gets much less traffic than MFA:

I'm thinking of getting a black leather strapped watch but with a budget of less than 300. any recommendations? and I was also wondering if an oversized face would look okay.

thanks!

Orient watches are considered really good for their price, and you can get all of their watches 50% off usually....or at least when I bought mine.

I really like the first two you linked. Would look pretty fresh

little more than your budget but I have this watch for casual wear and I get a lot of compliments on it. I got it for like 175 on jomashop on some 1 day deal and people think it's much more expensive for some reason. They might just be ******s though. The face is big too.

The first one comes highly recommended from Yeota!

I mean if you think that jacket looks good in any conceivable way, you should just never post in this thread again. Honestly. You've posted some terrible comments before, but this is almost trolling.

im not feeling that at all, but i dont admit to being "high fashion"
02-23-2012 , 12:18 AM
Why on earth would you get the mango color of that jacket?
02-23-2012 , 12:32 AM
I was under the impression it was an obvious troll

screw you guys

The jacket is actually the sickest jacket if your into hiking and outdoors. Its a new item it only weighs 10 oz.

kind of a niche thing i guess
02-23-2012 , 12:54 AM
If i dont like it when i try it on maybe ill return it for a black or blue

02-23-2012 , 12:54 AM
When you post in a style thread, usually hiking gear isnt what you post.

The mango color is horrendous, and $210 for that jacket is a joke. I've seen the same one in Uniqlo for like 50-60 bucks.

I lied, it's 80 bucks.

the one i picked out looks better and the brand is, well better.
02-23-2012 , 01:27 AM
i only know patagonia from the $120 all polyester pullovers that all the 16 year old girls and soccer moms wear in my town, so idk the brand very well. i was just confused on your color selection. it may very well be a quality brand

i'm looking for a new outfit, as i realized i have nothing to wear to a date i planned. any recommendations? i'm normally a casual j crew/polo/lacoste type.

shirt+shoes+pants to go along with my peacoat. and a decent messenger bag for everyday use.
