I mean, we wouldn't want Tebow's win streak to end against Chicago. That's what's important.

I'm way more mad at Barber for this one. Tebow was not very good this game, and the Bears let them off the hook.

12-11-2011 , 10:28 PM
I mean, these Tebow comebacks have become increasingly ridiculous to the point that I can't help but want Denver to win the West simply because their games are more interesting than anything the Raiders do.

I don't like either team, so that's the standard I'll go by.
12-11-2011 , 11:06 PM
keep up the hating. no one cares to mention that his receivers dropped every pass thrown to them in the first three quarters, or that prater kicked a short fg straight into the line
12-11-2011 , 11:46 PM
yeah prater choked big time with those 87 yard field goals to win the game

yes, his stat line before ~5 mins left was worse than it appeared, but he still played bad. i don't see how this game can "silence the haters" when it was probably the least deserved win yet. marion barber runs OOB for no reason and fumbles losing the game twice.

i think its hilarious they won and its starting to make me think there actually is a god but i just dont understand what this can possibly prove. tebow changed nothing from previous weeks and continues to win playing horrendously for 55 minutes and having the other team make pathetic mistakes in order to lose.
12-12-2011 , 12:04 AM
did you see the pass to deymarius thomas on the game winning drive.. how can you watch him do that and say he is 5% of the passer aaron rodgers is? how can you watch him do that and not realize that this is a way different threat than the wildcat? I doubt there is a single RB in the league who could do that.
12-12-2011 , 12:09 AM
He played badly again and would have lost to a battered Bears team that somehow had a worse QB than him and no Forte if not for Barber's boneheaded plays.

One pass proves nothing. And which throw are you talking about? The one to set up the FG? That was a completely standard throw that any decent QB in the league can make. I assume by RB you meant QB.
12-12-2011 , 12:10 AM
Yeah, let's ignore the first 3 quarters of Tebow being terrible because that formula will work for future success. Tebow had an awful game, the Bears had great run defense, and then they became conservative, allowed Tebow to throw short passes into the middle of the field to run out the clock, and then made mistakes ultimately costing them the game.

The team to finally contain Tebow and the offense has an anemic offense, which led to failure.

This game also shows that Mile High is ridiculous and every team should be attempting field goals that are 60 yards or less.

Just bumping a preview of coming attractions.

Did Gus make that post before Forte was injured?
12-12-2011 , 12:24 AM
After. He said it last Sunday night after Chicago had already lost to KC. There was no doubt of the state Chicago was in. Plus Denver still plays Buffalo and KC. They're not losing out at this point.

Was expecting them to beat the Chiefs. And obviously they should've lost today. They'll win the next 3 games for sure. Guaranteed.
