5 8 is a height no one really ever comments on me being short unless they are significantly taller than me

5 6 is kinda short though you notice 5 6 people

BG of course commented on my height (being shorter than her) then proceeded to wear 4 inch heels when we went to lawl prom (although in her defense she had 2 inch heels on until she got in the car, asked me what i thought of them and i replied "they look like stripper heels" and she said her brother said the same thing and then changed them as a result)

my ex-gf would also occasionally comment on me being the same height as her, but again it was only when heels came into play. it never ever ever crossed my mind until then. she also wore flats pretty often.

even when i hooked up with D i didnt really think about her height until we were hooking up and i realized how kind of awk it was to "cuddle" (YGOS i know) with someone 2 inches taller than me who was also pretty athletic (played college bball). oh well.

i did ask the 5 8 girl once if it bothered her dating guys shorter than her or the same height. she said as long as they werent several inches shorter than her she didnt mind... but she would consciously decide to only wear flats instead of heels because "the girl shouldn't be that much taller than the guy at formal events"

Dating girls who're "taller" (anywhere from around 2 inches shorter than you actually are suffices for this) than you just lets the entire world know you're awesome and have a huge ****. I suggest it.

So some days ago, a girl I already had a date with a month ago, gave me her number once again when I told her that I had to talk to her outside of work. I texted her and wanted to set up a date, but she couldnt. So I asked her about another date, and she wanted to let me know, but never got back to me ... Based on a sample size of one pop song, this country looks like the most awful place on earth. As much as I hate it, I couldn't help but laugh when the sax took over. Like when someone you're mad at tells a joke and you try not to laugh, but can't resist.

(Optimal height is likely taller among white folks) Lets stop pretending this is some sort of cliff rather than a gradual decline of physical presence. Narrow shouldered hipsters can qq with us short folks as well. They just have problems opening jars rather reaching stuff on the top shelf.

A few things:

A) RE: height affecting odds with chicks. I suppose it does the same way not being closer to Brad Pitt than someone else would affect your chances. It's just another physical/social/emotional/mental characteristic. Making it out to be some MEGA HUGE FACTOR that is going to rail you is a bit excessive. I never ever ever considered it affecting my chances in any sort of substantial way until I read someone saying that in the EDF thread late last year. I then, and honestly only then, seriously considered the heights of the chicks I've dated and realized many of them were my same height and some taller... although I will admit it is optimal to have a girl shorter than you.

B) A called me out of the blue today and wants to come over to say goodbye to me. I should tell her we have a bunch of questions for her before I leave.

The nice thing about your old avatar was that it fit you so well. It was from 1939, just like your attitudes towards sex.

Height is a fairly big deal. Not a complete deal breaker but certainly a lot more important than most guys want to admit. Listen to your female friends when they talk about guys and keep track of how often and how quickly height comes up when they are discussing a guy.
