Yours and everyone's preferences in this thread against fb do not make it a universal truth.

I do not login to Facebook except to post photos and message people I haven't talked to in a while. Can you tell me why I shouldn't have an account? I believe it's a valuable service when used appropriately, and I believe people's preferences against fb in this thread are from instances where it isn't used appropriately, which to be fair is the majority of the time.

i've cheated on all my gfs (i don't think is cool or anything, i can't help it). bc of this, i now refuse to enter into serious relationships and haven't had a serious gf in a very long time.

There are plenty of way to signal wealth-- watches alone can easily break $100k and if you really want to go full out even $300k isn't hard-- so it isn't necessary to get into diamonds and running the risk of being gaudy.

You said you average 2x a year so for you it makes no difference. For a normal guy dating FB is just a constant barrage of drama bombs

obviously cheating is wrong, but it's sort of a weird thing to call somebody out for it on an internet forum when he voluntarily gives that information. it's not like some random dude is gonna have a more powerful effect than the actual people he's hurt etc. thus you're really just doing it to prove some sort of point or create some sort of image of yourself as a really upstanding guy. and you've done this same sort of moralistic thing at least 3-4x before (considering i've only seen you make ~20 posts in sl, that's like 15-20% of your posts).

had lunch at like 4, karak im'd me at like 5:30 asking if I wanted to have dinner immediately. I was still kinda hungry so said sure. met him in chinatown at ~6:25 (according to 2p2) along with Pecota, we walked around until we ran into Graffiato, which I've had a couple times and it's tasty, so we went there. were seated immediately since it was still early on a Friday. had some tasty food and a bottle of wine for the table.

got gelato after, then went to Iron Horse, a decent bar with good beer selection. had my first ever 'sour' beer (http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/48/10482). was decent, but tasted more like a whisky sour than beer. had a couple other beers.

went to ultra bar to meet up with karak's friends (white josh and black josh). was super empty at first (this was ~9:45) but filled up very quickly with all kinds of attractive people. not gonna TR interactions cause that's not how I roll, but at the end of the night, Karak and I were going downstairs (under the influence, but not out of line or out of the ordinary imo), and there was an employee of the bar (security or a bouncer I think) right behind us who was annoyed by our inability to shove past the crowd in the stairwell. he kept yelling at us to hurry up, we were going at a normal speed (perhaps a bit slow). when we got to the bottom, I subtly (dont think he heard me), asked if he was mad, then his fellow bouncers by the entrance forcefully shoved Karak out the door. He fell down and grabbed his face, apparently they hit him, I didn't really see it. We left, chatted with a cop outside (who told us it was in our best interest to just leave. I agreed), then took separate cabs home.
