according to my mom, if i just get them removed as a precautionary measure, the insurance will not pay for it, and it will cost my family around $1300. if i lie and tell the dentist my wisdom teeth hurt and he needs to remove them ASAP, then it will probably be free.

fwiw, my family is fairly well off and can afford it. right now i'm really undecided on i should do. so what's my play?

edit: part of the reason i'm asking is that i'm legit unsure if lying in this situation is standard or if its massive scum behavior

So, I grew up around the insurance industry (my pops is an independent agent of >30 years). First off, this is 100,000% insurance fraud. Wiki the penalty for your state, I guess.

That being said, the odds of you getting caught are extremely slim. They would have to literally prove that your wisdom teeth had no reason to hurt prior to surgery. Proving this would actually be really easy, but would probably cost them more than $1300 to do so.

I'd probably just pay it, esp if you have the $$. Just so I wouldn't feel mega-sketch, if nothing else. I'm a nit though, I guess.

Did you have a previous reason to hate on this guy? BTW if drunken words are sober thoughts, my sober thoughts suck ass at grammar.

So one of my greatest fears when it comes to roller coasters (along with heights) is not being in control of the machine im on. I didnt ride a roller coaster until I was 17 because of this. Since I tried them I have enjoyed them, but I still get nervous before hand.

Anyway, me and some friends were at Kings Dominion on Monday (the new Intimidator 305 is sick!). We had been there for around 8 hours, we decide to go ride 305 one more time. It breaks down when we are in line. So we decide to go do Volcano again since one of the kids who joined us missed out when we rode that ride.

Idk how many of you have ridden Volcano, but its a suspended foot-hanging "blast coaster" you get a launch at the beginning and about halfway through, another "boost" (you dont come to a stop) that launches you vertically and out of the volcano. Anyway we are on the ride, and the 2nd launch doesn't work. So we only have the speed we are carrying, we make it halfway up the vertical launch, and go barreling backwards through the track. I seriously thought I was going to die. I'm not sure if I'll be able to ride a roller coaster for awhile, and I'm definitely not gonna ride Volcano again.

I tested the Batman ride at Six Flags in Atlanta when it first opened. I was like 16 and had a foreign exchange student with me. It totally got stuck, lol.

Meh, Japan losing means I'm out of the running for last place in the SSFR football competition.

Going to America and Canada with my family for a few weeks soon, visiting New York, Boston and other places I can't remember/don't know. If it goes well I'll visit again next year on my own to have moar fun.

If for some reason you decide that there's something worth seeing in Georgia (there actually are a few decent things) and need somebody to show you around, I'd be down, as long as I'm free (end of July is bad).

Not because I'm tired, not because I have to be up early tomorrow to go to work (donkament grinder!), but just because holy eff, it's late, better go to bed. **** it.
k, so. went from 3pm monday until ~9pm tuesday before falling asleep as soon as the jays went down 4-0. woke up to pee around midnight, couldnt get back to sleep for some reason until 2am. i then slept until 1pm today, which pretty much gets me right back to where i was in the first place. happy day.

Just got my diploma in the mail. Now an official college grad. As weird as it may sound to some, I'm happy as hell to be done with this pointless crap.

Its nice when shot taking doesn't go horribly wrong.
I really need to get in some serious volume but every time I end up a buyin or two after an hour or so I think its a good days work and quit.

In theory I support the jays but the amount of baseball news the UK gets is exactly 0. Also I never bothered understanding the league tables/divisions so its all a bit of a blur.

Wanted to share a few hands from the WSOP with you guys, in case you are thinking about playing and are worried the fields aren't soft enough.

Hand 1 (actually just posted this hand in BM because of some possible softplay/collusion concerns related to table talk):

We are over halfway through Day 1 of a 1500 buy-in.

UTG limps.

Folds to BTN who makes a large raise.

Folds to BB who calls off 1/3 of his stack.

UTG jams overtop... effectively doubling the raise.

BTN simply flats the jam and has BB covered (albeit only by a little).

Action folds to BB.

Obviously nearly every player in this hand (except UTG if he holds a premium hand... which he didn't) played it like **** and I'm sitting there thinking LOL DONKAMENTS... BTN was very weird by not jamming overtop. She left herself <10 BBs behind by flatting the shove and BB has only about 7 BBs behind after flatting her initial raise.

BB tanks for a long time. UTG is sitting there silently all-in. BTN then speaks up and says, "Come on [BB], I think you know what to do here after already investing so much. You know the right move."

BB then replies, "Are you really calling there with anything less than kings or aces?"

BTN says back, "Does it really matter at this point? Haha. You've called so much off."

BB folds, claiming to have QQ (and I believe him, and he was terrible... as was every other player in this hand).

UTG shows AJ; BTN shows AK. UTG spikes a J to stay alive. QQ would have scooped the pot.

Hand 2 (later Day 1 of the same event):

Blinds 500/1k. I have around 30k and the table is pretty bad. There's a couple online pros, but the rest are standard live donks.

UTG has like 25k in his stack.

UTG opens to 6,000 UTG. (LOL?)

I look down at AQs00ted, cry a little bit on the inside because UTG has AK here like always (sometimes JJ) and AQs00ted is easily the best hand I've seen in about 14 days and fold.

Folds to BTN (fairly certain BTN is an online pro) who, before he even looks at his cards, looks at UTG with the most perplexed look ever. He then peeks at his hole cards, his eyes open wide and he makes it 16k to go.

Folds back to UTG who tanks forever, then just calls.

Flop is QJ2 rainbow. UTG checks, button shoves, UTG screams "****!!!" (good thing no floors were around) and turbo mucks his cards, leaving himself with <10 BBs (antes are also huge at this point).
06-30-2010 , 06:27 PM
Hand 3:

3rd? hour on day 1 of a 1500 buy-in NLHE event.

Blinds are like 100/200.

UTG (old man terrible player) limps. He has around 10k behind.

MP goes all-in for 1100 chips.

BTN (9k behind) makes it 2500 to go.

Folds to UTG who snap throws the 2500 in.

BTN and UTG turbo check it down on a 232TJ board.

UTG shows AJos and scoops the pot. BTN had AK. MP had 99.
