while we're on the subject, whats everyone being for halloween? and if you could come up with something awesome for my gf that would be great as well. i suggested carmen san diego but idk if she wants to or not. i was going to be green man but apparently a bunch of people around campus have a suit already, so i'm gonna be super dave instead.

there will be a lot of antoine dodsons i think

i have no idea what i'm doing for halloween so not really thinking about a costume yet

My roommate is going to be a blues brother. I'm not sure yet what I'm going to be and as gg said I have no clue what's going on yet.

Also call me a nit but I hate dressing up to go to parties but I know its worth it since that's like the easiest night of the year to get some.

I'm going as Ronnie from Role Models, my roommate is going as Augie.

in case it wasn't clear to anyone, these numbers are actual, real numbers and not numbers i just made up and exaggerated out of no where to make a comedic point.

so please, take them very seriously, as they are clearly reasonable and definitely capable of being accurate. most reasonable people should be expected to believe that 49k in rake at NL50 (where the buy-in is 50 dollars) is totally normal and reasonable, and i'd expect everyone on this forum to realize this isn't indeed a joke, but is, in actuality, quite a serious representation of hard, solid data.

srs Question. I'm guessing for someone who wants to start learning HU 40+ buyins would be ideal? It would be NL 50 obv

variance in HUNL is enormous. NL50's rake, even though 49k is obviously a joke number it is beyond my comprehension that CCuster thought I was being serious unless he was re-leveling back, is killer. You'd be better off learning at HUSNGs, although they are much different than HU ring games.

Yeah that was obv a joke

I have played a decent amount of HU SNG's and find them to be pretty soft. I agree they're such different games. I prefer playing at least 100bbs deep which obv cash offers. I just gotta get better and grind up a roll before I take on HU NL50 I think.

Ohh, I finally caught on to CC's costume.

That could be a great one, though I fear that not enough people have seen the movie.

dunno if any of you have been watching but there's a sick epic australian rules football match thats live on espn classic right now, its 67-62 with 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter. its like the superbowl game of aussie rules football
09-25-2010 , 03:08 AM
That genuinely makes me wish that I even knew how that game is played. If I did, I'd turn it on.
09-25-2010 , 03:16 AM
wow pretty sick, it ended up being a 68-68 draw and there's no overtime even in the championship game. lol australia

Not all that worried about this tbh

i completely missed the "L or" portion of the L or H party condition.

without further adieu:

Lance Armstrong
Neil Armstrong
Arm and Hammer
Lillehammer
Lilly Allen
Woody Allen
Tim Allen
Tim Curry (Hangin' with Mr Cooper)

your costume is Mr Cooper.

I've mentioned this guy before. Sincerely seems like a good candidate to be diagnosed as a narcissist. Almost every status update on Facebook is either (a) a recap of how awesome of a job he did on his workout or (b) some motivational quote. I mean, the gym stuff must be true, because he's clearly pretty ripped, but he's widely considered a joke amongst both guys and girls regardless.

I was extremely amused when I saw this picture show up on Facebook today. Everybody in the background seems to be partying (the album that was posted was a bunch of party pictures), and he...is getting his picture taken doing a pull-up? Really?
