went to Sunset in Brighton the other night and got one of their amazing samplers

It was called "stick in the mud" and had allagash black, some coffee porter, two-headed beast, and a raspberry dark.

then just got some full pints of the coffee one which was delicious

Blue Moon's Rising Moon (their spring beer) is amazing.

It is an amber wheat ale that is flavored with kieffer lime leaves and peel. Simple, but delicious.

(Didn't realize til just now that Blue Moon is actually made by Coors. total mindblower)

Coors? Are you sure? Or is it just bottled by them?

Rising Moon sounds interesting. Dammit. I'm gonna have to pick some up now. :-( Damn you for tempting me Noah!

From wiki:

Blue Moon, a Belgian-Style white beer (witbier) brewed by the Molson Coors Brewing Company, was launched in 1995. Originally called Bellyslide Belgian White, it was created by Keith Villa, a brewmaster at Coors Field's Sandlot Brewery (the onsite brewery owned by the Molson Coors Brewing Company). The beer is a three-time medalist at the World Beer Championships (Gold-1995, Silver-1996-7).

It's delicious and the lime taste isn't like a "Corona w/ lime" type taste. you can really tell that it comes from the leaves/peel.

Noah, just bought the Spring Ale & I like it a lot. I can't describe it as well as you did, but yea it's definitely much different with a Corona w/ lime type of taste(much better).

I'm in love with the Blue Moon Winter Ale as well.
