I am the pledge master of this fall's group of pledges. I would like to know if anyone has done/heard of/thought of funny/entertaining/embarrassing acts to make pledges perform in front of sororities to make (a) the pledges/fraternity look good (b) make the pledge master look good.

Sing titanic songs holding roses for one of the sorority houses. Make sure there are enough roses for all the girls, this is important.

i know alot of embarassing and ugly **** to make them do*, but if you want to look good involve raising money for charity with maybe silly costume or make pledges get sorority sisters signature by perfoming a task, get dinner, laundry etc. pleges might like this if their hot though, good for pledge moral cause these chicks prolly wouldnt talk to them othewise. gotta keep pledges spank banks full.


* olive off ice block and drop in shot glass. oh by the way you do it with your butt cheeks only, no hands

* egg catch. pledgess lie on back while brothers from second story crack eggs and attempt to drop into pledge mouth.

* head shave, shave pledges heads, oh btw not consistent striipe here stripe there etc. etc. this is hard to hide from university officials obviuosly

* fire drill, full bucket of nasty **** like ketchup mustard etc etc vinegar , pretend fraternity is on fire and pledges must put it out by takign mouthfulls of crappy liquid and spraying on imaginary fire.

if your school does a run for the roses type thing, picking out good songs is an absolute must imo

we did 1000 miles (which girls love) and that armaggedon song, another other place did the taylor swift song with some dance to go along with it

This is why I never understood frats. All the hazing. Meh.

One I've seen done is there's a day (or week, wasn't my frat so don't remember the specifics) where the President is protected by his 'secret service' (the pledges). They dress in suits and the sunglasses and everything. The brothers are trying to 'assassinate' the president. Pledges have to go to class and basically everywhere around campus serving as his body guard, surrounding the president while the brothers have to try to either just touch him or hit him, again not sure of the specifics. If the pledges fail to protect him, they are penalized in some way. Makes for some pretty humorous scenes around campus.

EDIT: Missed the part about impressing a sorority. Maybe pick a sister sorority or one that you're pretty tight with and have their president be the first lady in the above scenario?

You would have to do it so at least 4 pledges are always with him so the other pledges can actually go to class...Im sure if you have enough pledges you can find 4 who dont have class at all times....Or mayb just do it for an entire weekend

Just split them into groups of 3 or 4 and assign each group a 2 minute random funny skit to make up.

Protect the president is always fun. Using a sorority's president is a good idea too.

We normally have our pledges meet with a sorority's new class and use the girls as mock potentials for next semester. Have the pledges practice recruiting. Gets the guys used to recruiting as well as helping them get to know the girls in the sorority. Looks good from the girls pov and helps your chapter. Plus its fun as hell as long as the guys are remotely social.

When we had to sing for girls' dorms, it was usually "You've Lost that Lovin' Feeling".

one semester that kinda sucks in exchange for over 3 of the best years of your life

my friend made the pleddges of his frat get on their knees before a sorority and sing and entire taylor swift song. they were to memorize the song beforehand and if any of them missed a lyric they weren't allowed in the party
