ditching one campus job for another ditching one campus job for another

Normally I don't approve of stuff like this (semi-screwing people over)--

The main internship that I wanted I did not get. I was pretty confident from an interview that I'd get it. However, I just found out about this a few days ago.

I really want to live in my college town this summer so I looked for an on campus job. I found one pretty quickly doing busy work in our library. ****ty pay, etc. but it would allow me to be here this summer.

While interviewing I found out that it ends in early/mid July. This would be bad because I'd have no income from July-August. I could get by on poker but it wouldnt be guaranteed and at this point I'm much more comfortable using it as a supplement/increasing bankroll.

I just got an interview for Friday from a different campus thing that I applied for which lasts the entire summer. How ****ty would it be to accept that one if I got it? I just accepted the other one like two days ago. I know that this isn't really a terrific thing to do but its just a close to minimum wage campus job, and having work lined up for the rest of the summer would make things incredibly less stressful for me.

Thoughts?

Take the other job. If it makes you feel any better, I don't think any less of you.

I think the answer is always "devote your life to poker" rather than working a $8/hr job.

If you arent gonna do poker take the 2nd job, what is the library gonna do? They probably have a lot of other applicants ready.

Dude this isn't really ****ty at all, the turnover for jobs like this is massive. People sign up, get the job, then never really work all the time. Seriously, don't sweat it. Take care of you, yo.
