Why's it so much worse than SG? And can't you switch campuses?

UTSC is horrible because the campus is so depressing. The atmosphere there is much like a college. It's really small, and there's pretty much nothing to do on campus. The buildings are ugly as hell and actually resemble a prison. They actually turned one of the buildings into a prison for the filming of the new Resident Evil. Also, there is no social life at all. Most of the students who attend UTSC are commuters; pretty much go to school and go home. There is a lack of study space and the library is always noisy.

Which campus are you going to? If you're actually going to be attending UTSC, I strongly advise you to get out now. In my opinion, do not attend any other UT campus except for UTSG.

Also, you can actually transfer campuses, but I believe you need a GPA of 3.00.

You said it exactly.

Quite frankly, I don't know why I didn't transfer. I got accepted to a B.Comm program downtown, but I also got accepted to a Co-op BBA as well at UTSC. I figured a Co-op program would be better for work experience. Well, basically I was a lazy ass the first year and I did ****, so I had to drop out of the BBA program all together and pursue a General BA. At least the campus is close to my house, that's probably the only reason I stayed. Which in hindsight is the wrong one. I'm graduating this year finally.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like the type of campus I was looking to avoid. I'm going to UTSG, as long as my conditional offer doesn't get rescinded lol.

Any plans on what you're doing after graduating?

Currently right now I may go to college. I applied to a whole bunch of college programs so I'm probably going to end up going that route. What program did you get accepted into? All I can say is work your ass off first year, depending on the program you have gotten into they may try and weed out students in first year programs.

Good choice on SG though, its a pretty great place to learn.

UofT SG here.
Seems to be a lot of poker tournies around the school this year. Any of you folks played in them?
