Does anyone have any details on the Wynn Classic series. According to their website, for the limit omaha 8 tourney, the 1st level blinds are 50/100. 100/200 limit seems pretty high for first round.

E-mailed them yesterday and have not received any reply. Does anyone know the starting chips or how long each level lasts.

Thanks for the response. The limit structure must not have been updated. When has an Omaha 8 tourney ever had an ante?

10000 in starting chips is great. $25/50 blinds for the first round would be nice.

The limit structure is not correct on the web site. First round is 25/50 blind 50/100 limit and there are no antes.

FYI, the turnouts thus far for the first two events have been awful. The 500 event last year got 620 players and only got 450 this year. Todays 1k buyin got only 160 players and for a Saturday, that is a really bad turnout. Hopefully, the numbers get better as the week progresses...

doubt it will get much better...reality of new poker given the economy and how fatigued the poker economy itself seems to be and the sheer number of tournaments that are going on around the world simultaneously (one just needs to look at PokerStars APT, AAPT, EPT, AZPT, and a hole bunch of other fc*&^ing acronyms they have now vs. last year... the tourneys everywhere in the US are down 10-30% (except for some of LAPC events which I attribute to the great job Matt did)...
