Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I read through last year's thread and it seems the only flight that people had trouble getting into was 1d (there were 1a, 1b, 1c, and 1d last year), and that was on the morning of 1d. Two years ago I believe there were problems with there only being two flights.

This year there will be no add-on's at the table for these events. The $580 buy-in breaks down to $500 to the prize pool, $55 rake, and $25 service fee to the WSOPC.

We thank you for your interest and look forward to another opportunity to impress the world with the quality product we provide at PBKC. And, of course, if you have any concerns we would be more than happy to address them on twoplustwo or in person.

If I buy 3 online tickets to the $580 and make it through on day 1...

Will refunds on the 2nd and 3rd entry be $580 or $596

We understand that the $16 convenience fee is a less than desirable expense. PBKC works hard to provide an excellent product at a good price. The $16 fee is a transactional fee charged by credit service providers who process online transactions. Each unit (ticket) sold represents an individual transaction and as a result, the fee must be applied to each unit individually. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will continue to look for the best advantage for players moving forward.

The service charge is applied to online transactions which provide players peace of mind and convenience in reserving their tournament entry. These fees are for the service of reserving the ticket online and processing the credit transaction. As a result, processing fees will not be refunded upon the advancement of players who receive refunds for tickets to later flights of the event. (refunds for players who advance will be $580)

Thanks,
TTJ

I think this is accurate, but I believe it was because the earlier flights were sold out in advance of 1a. We expect to be able to handle the volume this year with the event as scheduled. If adjustments are needed, we will do what we need to to make this a positive experience.

Thanks,

The first column is round number. The second is round length. I'm not sure if you meant that you couldn't see the round length, or if you were noting that the round length had not increased.

Thanks,

no offense but this just str8 up seems like a lie. If the palm beach kennel club played no part in this "scam" and the money went to the Poker Tournament Consultants group then y was palm beach the only stop (that i know of) that did this $20 add on thing? Seems a little strange that u guys would get none of that money.

bestindabiz51,

I've worked at PBKC for 8 years. I oversee the workings of the room. I know the character of the people I work with. And I take serious offense to someone calling me or anyone I work with a liar.

You obviously don't know about PBKC so I'd invite you to come check us out for yourself. Our door is always open to players, and every legitimate concern is taken seriously. We are trying to run the best poker room in the world every day. That's our goal. So stop by any time or call (561) 683-2222 ext 241 if there's anything you'd like to discuss.

Thanks,
TTJ

Obviously you never played at other PTC run events... everyone I played at did it until it was changed to make everything more uniform across the circuit events...

I'm thinking about coming down fir these events, but I've never been to this location before. How many cash games run during the tournaments? Is it a situation where the cash game tables are taken up by tournament tables everyday? It seems like there is limited space.

They have upstairs for tournies with like 50 tables and down stairs for cash with about 40 tables.

the food is really good. I haven't had anything I didn't like from there.

Service is friendly n good in the sense that they're trying. Sometimes just a little slow because things are made to order (i don't mind the wait though)

Waitress' i've had the few times (had the same one 3x) has been a great waitress. If that's what you meant. If you're asking if she's hot, to each their own.

But seriously, lemon cake waffle ftw

Lol he won casino player a cpl years ago I believe, think he's familiar with the room. And he's spot on, your room is a joke and this "character" you speak of is laughable. We have every reason to be skeptical.

But please, go on about your awesome resume, just don't mind me if I pay 0 attention cuz the person who's had the biggest impact on PBKC and the WSOPc over the past decade is jimmy "the biggest SCAM artist in poker management history" sommerfield. The guy retired off our "add-on" money.

I mean, sorry for being so riled up but your tone in those last two posts is absurd. It's like Lehman brothers bragging about their investment performance pre '08. GL with that.

Okay. Now can you answer my question on when we can buy them onsite. Since I am a local I would rather not play the service fee.

Ring events are on sale now. We've sold a good number of them to locals already.

Thanks,
