No more London events, as Caesars signed a three-year agreement with Barriere Poker to hold the WSOPE for 7 bracelet events in October.

At least it won't conflict with WCOOP even though it will most likely conflict with WPT Festa Al Lago. I love the idea of switching it away from London though. I wonder where the EPT Grand Final will be now since Cannes has a deal w/ WSOPE?

4% of prize pools taken out by French gov't for taxes. Moving out of London is understandable, however a move to Cannes which is even more expensive for food and lodging costs and has additional money taken out of prize pool is a terrible idea. At least it should be made up for by increased French and Italian participation.

Cannes is an awesome awesome location (expensive, but awesome).

Would be better if the time slot would be closer to the summer, for good weather purposes

At first glance it sounds nice cause I like the location better. But London was nice because there was WSOP E, EPT, EPO, WPT.... tons of options around same time. Doubt I really wanna travel to France for just this schedule especially with the tax issue. idk we ll see i guess what else is going on around that time.

For those looking to save $ stay in Nice, France which is only about 20 mins from Cannes and much more affordable. I believe are 1 or 2 hotels in the 250 Euro per night range.
