One thing, I want to point out, being that this was the 1st wsop circuit of the season (so hoping they will remedy it) is that I was quite offended by the WSOP "I'm a Player" banners and posters everywhere, showcasing players wearing FTP patches and gear. Pretty sure the WSOP/Caesar's does not want to be seen as endorsing a company that stole hundreds of millions of dollars from the poker community...It was just very offensive personally, as someone who was critically affected by BF and the FTP collapse.
Please do something about this and get rid of those damn banners.
Katie - The word went out yesterday to all of the upcoming WSOP-C venues to remove the FTP banners. They will not be at your next stop. Thanks for pointing that out.
It's so funny, you can spot these guys 100 yards away. Backwards WSOP hat, either a HUGE headphone on one ear, or a single bud in one ear, mirrored sunglasses, and the HUGE backpack. What's with the backpack? I understand taking a few items with you, but these guys are about to hiking through the mountains. Just don't understand it. I'm a cash game player, so maybe I'm not suppose to understand it.
Hey now, my last day I decided to buy the two WSOP t's after cashing in event 6, I figured the "I see Donkeys" shirt was going to bring action, but hey someone flopped a set and i was gone. At least I never wore the mountain survival backpack (I think I know who you are talking about). Sad thing is now I have been card dead for almost 2 weeks straight, it's been killing my bank-roll. Might have to pull out the good old "I see Donkeys" shirt and see what that does tomorrow night at the casino (might just reverse my luck).
